Collaboration between ANYTIME and Chung Hwa Telecom HiNet brings music entertainment to the next level in Taiwan
Taiwan/Singapore, 15 December 2003 - ANYTIME, an entertainment-on-demand service provider, launched its music video jukebox featuring the hottest music videos, on Chung Hwa Telecom’s HiNet service, a multimedia portal for Taiwanese broadband service subscribers today.
Subscribers of Chung Hwa Telecom’s broadband service now have access to hit music videos from ANYTIME’s music video jukebox anytime, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The genres of music videos available are “What’s New”, “Cantonese”, “Mandarin” and “Western” with subgenres “Western Pop” and “Chinese/Cantonese”. Music videos featuring artistes like Aaron Kwok, Sammi Cheng, Sun Yan Zi, Holly Valance, Madonna, Linkin Park, The Corrs, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and many others from BMG, EMI, Warner Music and Zomba are available on the service.
ANYTIME’s music jukebox service provides VCR functionality such as Play, Forward, Rewind and so on. Users can also program their favourite music videos under their own playlists allowing for users to watch only what they want for hours on end. The Jukebox has four different views to watch music videos on their computers such as Max MV, Full Player, Compact Player and Mini MV. Music videos are streamed directly to homes on Chung Hwa Telecom’s broadband network rather than over the Internet ensuring CD sound and near DVD picture quality.
