ANYTIME signs licensing deal with Becker Entertainment

Leading Video-on-Demand Channel adds another top film distributor to its extensive list of content partners

Singapore, June 28, 2006 – Becker Entertainment and ANYTIME, the world’s leading supplier of Video on-Demand programming for IPTV, Broadband and Digital cable networks, have signed a non-exclusive distribution agreement covering Australia & New Zealand.

The agreement will see major new release and library titles from Becker Entertainment and its specialty film distribution company, Dendy Films, available on-Demand over the ANYTIME channel in July 2006.

Becker Entertainment’s stable of award-winning feature films and documentaries includes titles like The World’s Fastest Indian, Good Night, and Good Luck, and Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room.

Head of TV Sales at Becker Entertainment Jonathan Page says the partnership with ANYTIME is a significant step in content delivery. “Video on-Demand represents an exciting new distribution option for content owners, giving fast access to new audiences and revenue streams,” he said.

“ANYTIME’s on-Demand channel gives the viewing audience convenient access to a wide selection of quality films. We’re pleased that a selection of Becker Entertainment’s and Dendy Film’s titles will now be made available on-Demand through the ANYTIME channel.”

Chief Executive Officer of ANYTIME Craig Zimbulis said: “Becker Entertainment has a long, solid history of producing and distributing quality entertainment. Its films add a lot of depth to the entertainment already available on the ANYTIME channel. The inclusion of content from Becker Entertainment and Dendy Films further establishes ANYTIME as the pre-eminent Video on-Demand channel in Asia.”

The ANYTIME Video-on-Demand channel is currently available in Australia through TransACT and Regional Internet Australia (RIA).
