ANYTIME announces Asia’s first technology partner program for Video on-Demand

Verimatrix joins as first member of “ANYTIME Technology Partner Program”

Singapore, August 16, 2006 - ANYTIME, the world’s leading supplier of Video on-Demand programming for IPTV, Broadband and Digital cable networks, today announced a technology program aimed at reducing the time to deploy secure, quality, Video on-Demand (VoD) services in Asia Pacific.

The ANYTIME Technology Partner Program is a collaboration between ANYTIME and the world’s leading VoD technology vendors. Verimatrix, the leading pay-TV content and revenue protection developer, is the first organisation to join the Program.

The Program has two levels of agreement – Technology compliance, and Cooperation & Co-marketing. It allows technology vendors to come together and develop best practices in delivering and marketing VoD services and ensures process compliance and data flow compatibility from publishing, to billing API’s, and royalty reporting.

The program is open to Set-Top Box (STB) manufacturers, middleware vendors, Conditional Access and DRM hardware and software makers, VoD server manufacturers, and Systems Integrators. If accepted into the Program, vendors can work with ANYTIME to ensure their products, services or solutions, comply with the highest industry standards for VoD content delivery.

Chief Technology Officer of ANYTIME Craig Ginsberg says that there are great advantages in having technology vendors’ work together on VoD delivery.

“Joining the ANYTIME Technology Partner Program gives technology vendors the opportunity to exchange knowledge, share leads and develop co-marketing and branding opportunities with ANYTIME,” he said.

“Deploying IPTV services is a time consuming and costly process. By bringing together leading VoD technology providers in this way, Asia Pacific Telcos, ISPs and Digital Cable providers can minimise the pain involved with evaluating and deploying IPTV.”

The ANYTIME Technology Partner Program is vendor agnostic, ensuring that Telcos, ISPs and Digital Cable providers receive impartial advice and information on VoD delivery technology.
