Concurrent Joins ANYTIME Technology Partner Program

Worldwide Leader in Digital On-Demand Systems for Broadband Becomes Latest Member of Asia Pacific VoD Technology Alliance

Singapore, October 5, 2006 - ANYTIME, Asia Pacific’s leading Video on-Demand channel (VoD), today announced that Concurrent (Nasdaq: CCUR), a worldwide leader of on-demand technology that is shaping the future of television, has joined the ANYTIME Technology Partner Program.

The ANYTIME Technology Partner Program is a collaboration between ANYTIME and the world’s leading VoD technology vendors, and aims to reduce the time to deploy secure, quality, VoD services in Asia Pacific. Within this alliance, technology vendors can join together to develop best practices in delivering and marketing VoD services, while ensuring process compliance and data flow compatibility from publishing, to billing API’s and royalty reporting.

Founded in 1966, Concurrent delivers a range of on-demand and real-time solutions to a diverse global customer base spanning North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. It joins Verimatrix as a member of the program.

ANYTIME Chief Technology Officer Craig Ginsberg believes Concurrent’s long history of innovation and expertise in on-demand and real-time technologies will be an asset to all members of the ANYTIME Technology Partner Program.
“Over the years, Concurrent’s hardware and software solutions have been associated with all leading edge VoD deployments around the world,” he said.
“Their history of providing compelling VoD platforms is unmatched. This experience and expertise will immediately extend the value that the ANYTIME Technology Partner Program brings to technology vendors and existing or potential VoD carriers in Asia Pacific. “

“We are eager to make a major contribution to developing VoD deployments across Asia Pacific, and proud to be selected by ANYTIME to join their Technology Partner Program,” Concurrent chief executive officer Gary Trimm offered. “Demand for VoD services grows greater everyday. For the average telco, ISP or digital cable operator, it can be a difficult and complex process. It’s important that leading vendors in this space work together to make VoD deployments as painless and efficient as possible.”

The ANYTIME Technology Partner Program has two levels of agreement – technology compliance, and cooperation and co-marketing. If accepted into the program, vendors can work with ANYTIME to ensure their products, services or solutions comply with the highest industry standards for VoD content delivery.

The Partner Program is open to set-top box (STB) manufacturers, middleware vendors, conditional access and DRM hardware and software makers, VoD server manufacturers, and systems integrators. Vendor agnostic, the program ensures that telcos, ISPs and digital cable providers receive impartial advice and information on VoD delivery technology.
